At spriteCloud, testing is in our blood. Our software testing and automation consultancy company was founded by three testers in 2009, with the idea of creating a company that is a great place to work at for testers. Fast forward to 2022, we are now a team of 60+ and growing, with our headquarters in Amsterdam and an office in Barcelona, but the initial idea is still there.
No matter the size of spriteCloud, this sense of community that was so central to its creation should remain. This is not achieved by a top-down approach but by empowering our colleagues with the time, budget and flexibility to make spriteCloud the company they always wanted to work at.
As such, we encourage our staff to ask what they can do for spriteCloud rather than what spriteCloud can do for them. We have a shared responsibility to make spriteCloud a great place to work.
Our passion for testing and our commitment to high-quality work has allowed us to work with leading brands, both in the Netherlands and internationally, such as Heineken, Ahold and Adidas. We are social
Any excuse to get together and have a good time is a good one for us. We host several events throughout the year and encourage our colleagues to get together to connect around common interests. We believe it’s everyone’s responsibility to make spriteCloud a great place to work with a vivid social life. Be it by forming a running group to participate in a local race, organising a museum visit with the team, hosting a LAN party or joining a blacksmithing class, for example.

Our office
We are moving! From January 2023, you can find us in Amsterdam-West, just a stone’s throw from station Lelylaan. The Westbeat complex, where we will be located won the 2021 Golden A.A.P best-building-of-the-year-award. The building offers dedicated working space to accommodate our growing team of testers and support staff, as well as a shared co-working area with movable furniture, making the space suitable for different activities.
The idea behind the design is to be able to adapt the office according to what we have on the agenda on any given day. Whether that is a training session on performance testing with a smaller group, a spriteTalk with a large part of the team, a social event, focussed work or a recording session for our software testing podcast ‘It Works on My Machine’, for example.
Studio Holgersson Will be behind the design of our future office. The design incorporates elements of our previous furniture and ensures that new items are built using renewable materials, making this move as sustainable as possible.
Our new office will be easily accessible by public transportation as it is located at a five minutes walk from station Lelylaan and right next to the stop Derkinderenstraat (tram 1 and 17).
In the meantime, we have fully adopted the remote working life: some of our employees are working from their homes or continuing to go to our clients’ offices, while others are embracing this opportunity to work from abroad or even from a van!
