At spriteCloud, we’re as international as the UN. Jue Xu, originally from Shanghai, joined us recently as a Test Manager and has taken the time to answer a couple of questions about herself.
1. Tell us about yourself!
Hi! I am Jue Xu (a.k.a June). I was born and bred in Shanghai. My life started in the Netherlands back in 2009, and I moved to Amsterdam in 2016. Now I have my own little place in the Oud-West area, and I live with a very cute and sweet doggie friend. What do I do in my spare time? I love ballet, cooking (Asian food mainly) and working out.
2. What do you do at spriteCloud?
I have been working in the QA field for about 5 years. This October I started at spriteCloud’s Head Office in Amsterdam as a Test Manager. I have just completed two projects for large Dutch ecommerce clients. The projects we do at spriteCloud are very diverse, which I find very challenging. We work with different types of clients and industries, and often brainstorm about how we can ‘test better’!
3. What do you hope to achieve at spriteCloud?
I hope to become a QA Manager specialised in the ecommerce field, and to get to know how every ecommerce platform works. Meanwhile, I would like to learn more about test automation.
4. What is your favourite thing about software testing?
I love the moment of finding a bug! It might sound unusual but this is truly what I like about my job.
