Finance Manager

• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all monthly closing and financial reporting;

• Providing commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business targets; reporting monthly to the Shareholders Group and the Executives regarding the financial state of the business;

• Leading, coaching and supporting a small Finance team, working together on improvements of systems and processes;

• Working closely with the other Back-Office departments (HR, IT) for payroll administration, recruitment, employees benefits and subscriptions and with Sales for forecasting;

• Leading the annual budgeting process: processing and analyzing the monthly budget vs. actual reconciliation meetings and manage the monthly (rolling) forecast;

• Responsible for an accurate and timely day-to-day cash management;

• Responsible for a correct and complete financial administration (e.g. EXACT Online, SRXP, Power BI, Microsoft Excel) and you comply with laws and regulations for VAT and wage tax declarations and the annual report;

• Liaising closely with third parties like tax authorities, governments, accountants for accounting, legal and insurance issues

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in Business, Economics, Accounting or equivalent;

• Ideal career step for your second international role, you bring 5 years or more experience;

• Strong reporting background and you are able to create financial statements regularly to comply to above mentioned responsibilities (e.g. EXACT Online, Microsoft Excel, Power BI);

• You are well experienced in accounting and are able to manage a complete administration including tax declarations, year-end closing, Dutch and foreign payroll administration;

• Providing and presenting strategic recommendations to the members of the Executive management team;

• Successful in managing a small finance team; and together with your team are able to explain key financial information to non-financials;

• You are experienced in managing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, you are proactive and able to initiate improvements in a constantly changing company;

• An emotionally intelligent professional with interpersonal skills and highly developed influencing and communication skills;

• Proven success in driving improvements as a valued added partner.
